What it does

Save from anywhere Share sheet on your phone, or the browser extension on your desktop. Both land in the same library.
Read offline Articles are extracted, stripped of clutter and cached with their images, so a saved piece reads the same on a plane as at home.
Highlight and keep Pull quotes out as you read, with notes and colours, and export them to Markdown for your notes app.
Follow feeds Subscribe to RSS by URL or just a site address, and get a quiet digest when something new lands.
AI on your own key Summarize, translate, or ask about an article using your own API key, from the provider you choose. Nothing routes through us.
Everywhere at once Save on the desktop, read on the phone. Your Google Drive is the sync, so there is nothing extra to sign up for.

Saving, reading offline, tags, highlights, search and sync are free forever, with no limits and no ads. BetterLinks Pro is a single purchase that adds unlimited feeds with new-article alerts, automatic summaries and tags, listen mode, EPUB and PDF export, and imports from Pocket and Instapaper.

Exporting your own data is never behind the paywall. Leaving should be as easy as arriving.

Where your data lives

In the private appDataFolder of your own Google Drive — a hidden, app-scoped folder that only BetterLinks, signed in as you, can read. We never receive a copy, and we run no backend that stores your library.

BetterLinks requests only the drive.appdata scope. It has no access to the rest of your Drive. There are no analytics SDKs and no advertising SDKs in the app.
