What it does

Save from anywhere Share sheet on your phone, or the browser extension on your desktop. Both land in the same library.
Read offline Articles are extracted, stripped of clutter and cached with their images, so a saved piece reads the same on a plane as at home.
Highlight and keep Pull quotes out as you read, with notes and colours. A short daily review brings the best ones back.
Follow feeds Paste a site, a Substack or Medium writer, a subreddit, a YouTube channel or a Bluesky profile, and BetterLinks finds its feed.
Translate for free Your phone translates articles and books on the device, no key needed. Summaries and questions use your own AI key; Gemini, Groq and others give free ones. Nothing routes through us.
Everywhere at once Save on the desktop, read on the phone. Your Google Drive is the sync, so there is nothing extra to sign up for.

BetterLinks Pro is a single purchase that adds listening with your phone's own voices, unlimited feeds with new-article alerts, automatic summaries and tags, sending your queue to Kindle or Kobo, EPUB and PDF export, whole-book translation, and highlight sync to Obsidian and Readwise.

Exporting your own data is never behind the paywall. Leaving should be as easy as arriving.

Where your data lives

In the private appDataFolder of your own Google Drive — a hidden, app-scoped folder that only BetterLinks, signed in as you, can read. We never receive a copy, and we run no backend that stores your library.

BetterLinks requests only the drive.appdata scope. It has no access to the rest of your Drive. There are no analytics SDKs and no advertising SDKs in the app.
